Cinema screening of “Pipe Dreams”- A documentary by Stacey Tenenbaum, followed by Director’s Q&A

Pipe Dreams follows 5 young organists as they compete in Canada’s prestigious International Organ Competition (CIOC). This competition for organists is one of the most exclusive competitions in the world. Tensions run high as our competitors vie for $100 000 worth of prize money. Who will master the ‘king of instruments’ and come out victorious in Montreal?

No visit to Victoria is complete without exploring the world-renowned The Butchart Gardens! Experience 55-acres of lush greens and floral splendor. Created in 1904 by Jennie Butchart to restore natural beauty to her husband’s mined-out quarry, the lush grounds are simply amazing. The visits includes transportation from downtown Victoria and rare access to the 1908 two-manual Aeolian player organ in the Organ Pavillion, converted from a cattle barn!
